Dear Our Precious and Beloved Community,

We pray to Allah (SWT) that you and your families are keeping well and in best state of health and iman,

Daru Al-Moameneen (DALMO) Management Committee and Trustees wish you very rewarding days and nights of Ramadhan.

We pray to Allah (SWT) to accept our taa’at and to reward us for our good deeds in these very precious days, As previously communicated, we announce that Eid Al-Fitr will be in shaa Allah on Friday the 1st of Shawwal 1447H, the 20th of March 2026, following the European Council for Research and Fatwa.

Please make every effort to join us in Salatu AlEid and also celebrate the Awarding of the Qur’an Competition Prizes, Certificates of Participation in this Competition and also rewarding our Magnificent Teachers in our Arabic and Islamic School.

There will be also Eid Gifts to selected age-groups of our children.

Please find below the details regarding the payment of Zakat-ul-Fitr, the Eid Arrangements, in shaa Allah:

1. Zakat-ul-Fitr

It is wajib (obligatory) for Muslims to pay for Zakat-ul-Fitr, whether male or female, minor (child) or adult. The amount of Zakat-ul-Fitr is £6.00 per individual, adult, minor, and embryos of pregnant women. The payment has to be done for the whole family individuals

Daru AlMoameneen (DALMO) is collecting Zakat-ul-Fitr and will continue to do so until just before the Salatu AlEid, on Friday morning, 20th March 2026 in shaa Allah.

Ways of paying Zakat-ul-Fitr:

  1. e-transfer to DALMO account using our payment link below. Please use the narrative “Zakat-ul-Fitr”.

  1. Via the buckets provided by Daru AlMoameneen with clear labels designated for this purpose.

  1. By hand to any of The Management Committee members.

  1. By cheque. Cheques are to be addressed to DALMO.

If you want to pay the annual Zakat or any other payment type, please specify that in the narrative of your payment.

2. Eid Arrangements

Note it has not been possible on this occasion to secure the venue we have used in the past.

Time:

Doors will be open from 8.00 am.

Please note that parking of your car and the health and safety matters of your family including your children are purely your own responsibility.

The prayer will in shaa Allah start by 9.00 am.

3. Car Parking

Please note that only 120 parking spaces are available for attendees at this venue.

Therefore, please:

A. Car share where possible to reduce the number of vehicles arriving.

B. Use taxi or taxi-share with others to reduce risks of not finding a car parking space.


C. Arrive early and park only where instructed by the Marshals and the UWE team.

D. Once all allocated parking spaces are full it will not be possible to park at the venue. We cannot take responsibility for vehicles parked elsewhere.

E. Drivers may drop passengers, park in a safe and legal location and then walk to the venue if they wish.

Please adhere very strictly to directives given by the Marshals during all times in relation for the run of the Eid Prayers and ALL Guidelines dictated by the UWE in the car parks.

4. Other Key Requirements to ATTEND to please:

Please bring your own prayer mat.

Please strictly do not bring food at all.

Please ensure that WE ALL follow all the guidance, look after the place, and park very appropriately to demonstrate the TRUE Very High Image of the Muslim Community.
